Security
Your clients' files, protected as seriously as they are in your firm.
An accounting firm holds its clients' most sensitive information. Dossio was designed with that in mind from the start.
Hosted in Montréal
The database, files and application are hosted in Montréal. AI features and the emails Dossio sends go through providers located in the United States (see below).
Data kept separate
Each firm has its own space, separated in the database itself: a firm never sees another firm's data.
Read-only Xero
Dossio looks at your Xero files to check them. It never creates, changes or deletes anything there.
Encrypted access
Access to Xero and Microsoft 365 is kept in an encrypted vault, never in plain text.
Never sends for you
Dossio doesn't have permission to send email from Outlook. Replies stay drafts.
Passwordless sign-in
A link or a code sent by email, for your team and the client portal alike. So there is no password to steal or reuse.
Roles and access
Owner, admin or member. Each client contact sees only their own requests.
As little personal data as possible
The NEQ and GST and QST numbers, yes. A full social insurance number, never.
History
Important changes are logged: who did what, and when.
What about AI?
The assistant only sees the data of the firm of the person asking, with that person's permissions, and it does nothing without your confirmation. AI features (email sorting and the assistant) are processed by Anthropic, in the United States. Under its commercial terms, Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. The emails Dossio sends go through Resend, also in the United States.
